LAKE COUNTY LAUNCHES PHARMACEUTICAL DRUG COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL PROGRAM

The Lake County General Health District (LCGHD) and the Lake County Solid Waste District (LCSWD) announce the beginning of a pilot program for the collection and disposal of pharmaceutical drugs.  Beginning December 8^th, 2010 Lake County residents can dispose of their unwanted and expired prescription and nonprescription medications at five (5) law enforcement departments throughout Lake County.
