LEGAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS

 

          Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Lake County Commissioners, in and for Lake County, Ohio, at their offices in the Lake County Administration Center, 105 Main Street, 4th Floor, Painesville, Ohio, up to the hour of 11:00 A.M., local time, on the 14th day of May and read publicly thereafter for the following:

 

BID FOR ONE (1) VACUUM TANKER TRUCK FOR THE LAKE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF UTILITIES

 

Specifications are on file in the Lake County Department of Utilities, 105 Main Street, Painesville, Ohio

 

          Bid proposals must be accompanied by an Original Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashiers Check or Money Order, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid, drawn on some solvent bank and made payable to the Treasurer of Lake County.

 

          Bid proposals should be addressed to the Clerk, Board of Lake County Commissioners, Lake County Administration Center, 105 Main Street, 4th Floor, Painesville, Ohio 44077, and marked as follows:

 

BID FOR ONE (1) VACUUM TANKER TRUCK FOR THE LAKE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF UTILITIES

 

     Bid proposals shall be subject to the condition that the right is reserved to hold bids for a period not longer than sixty (60) days after date of opening and/or to award the bid contract at any time during that period.  The Board of Lake County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, and to accept any bid which it deems to be in the best interest of Lake County.  No bidder shall be considered a responsive and responsible bidder or eligible to be awarded the contract to which this Notice or Bid specifications apply, if the bidder is listed on the Auditor of State’s Database as having an unresolved “Finding of Recovery” as that term is defined in R.C.9.24. No bidder shall be considered a responsive and responsible bidder or eligible to be awarded the contract to which this Notice or Bid Specifications apply unless the bidder has completed a certification that the bidder is in compliance with R.C. 3517.13  A copy of the certification is included with the instructions to bidders and must be submitted with the bid.
