The Lake County Law Library is located in the basement of the Lake County Courthouse in Painesville, Ohio. Members have access to a wide range of print and online resources. Our collection covers a variety of areas including federal, state, tax, family, probate, real estate and labor law.

The Lake County Library also provides materials to its three branch libraries located in the Municipal Courts of Mentor, Painesville, and Willoughby, as well as Lakeland Community College Library and Morley Library. The library is available to members Monday through Friday 8:00 am until 4:30 pm.

DIGITAL CAMCORDER
Record testimony, accident scenes or anything else on our DVD camcorder. Also takes still images.

FAX SERVICE
The library offers fax service to or from members' home or office. Our fax number is 440-350-2780.

VIDEOCONFERENCING
The Law Library has a Polycom VSX 7000 videoconferencing unit available for our users. Testimony, depositions, and meetings are just some of its money-saving uses. Call the library in advance to reserve a time.

WIRELESS LIBRARY
Library users can bring their own laptops to the library and be instantly connected to the internet. We have two HP ProCurve Wireless Access Points each of which has a 300 foot range. Users need to have an IEEE 802.11b compliant PC card in their laptops.

MEDIA PROJECTOR
Magnify and display images, documents, charts or graphics onto any surface for easy viewing.

POSTER FRAMES
These will fit the poster sized copies and are available to be loaned out to members.

PHOTOCOPIES
Members may make up to 50 copies per day on one of our two copiers.

X-RAY VIEW BOX
The Law Library has a portable X-Ray View Box. The view box has a viewing area of 20" x 30", is light-weight and portable, and includes a handle and feet for easy table top mounting. Please call to reserve it for your next courtroom presentation.

REFERENCE ASSISTANCE
Our staff is able to assist you in finding cases or documents provided that you can provide us with the citation or the title. We offer training for the Westlaw and LexisNexis databases and we are able to fax you information on cases and articles of interest.

ANATOMICAL MODELS AND CHARTS
Members have access to over 30 models and charts which are available to be loaned out and taken to court.

POSTER PRINTER
Members can enlarge 8 1/2" x 11" paper, e-mail or saved documents to 17", 23", 29", or 36" wide posters.
