Lake County Narcotics Agency The Lake County Narcotics Agency is accepting resumes for the position of Special Agent. A Special Agent is a sworn Law Enforcement Officer responsible for detection, investigation, and arrest of individuals violating narcotic and dangerous drug laws. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, 21 years of age prior to the date of appointment, with Federal or State Peace Officer Certification, and either be a graduate of a four year college* or have extensive experience as an investigator of narcotics/other criminal investigations. Applicants need be physically and mentally fit and able to engage in the duties of a Special Agent. Applicant must have a good driving record and personal background free of criminal activity.
