'Clean Water Starts With You' Photography Contest

Each fall, Lake SWCD teams up with surrounding counties to sponsor a photography contest.  This year's theme is "Clean Water Starts With You" and we are looking for striking images that depict people working to take care of their watershed.  For official rules and an application form, click here.

Conservation Teacher of the Year

Lake SWCD honors Lake County teachers who incorporate concepts and applications of soil and water conservation into classroom curriculum.  Nominations are accepted from any Lake County resident for any full-time teacher working within the county.  Watch for more information in March, or contact Beth at the District office for more details.

Conservation Poster Contest

Each year Lake SWCD challenges school students to create a poster demonstrating the current year's Stewardship Week theme.  Contact Beth  for more details, or to get your class or child involved next spring.
